5th Annual Synapse Summit in Tampa, Florida, on February 17, 2022. Over 5,000 attendees will fill the Amalie Arena during this full-day event to meet and collaborate with Florida’s top innovation leaders coming from various states, industries, and backgrounds.
Maya Ai is set to launch for the first time. The entire team is so excited to have had
a successful 2021 in testing and beta runs. Maya helps companies marketing teams with labor-intensive research, understanding and staying up to date with constant market shifts and how it
applies to their business for growth.
The company will be launching with a few hundred companies and a healthy waitlist all targeted
towards the U.S retail and e-commerce businesses. With a massive influx of digital brands being
deployed over COVID, the rate of retail and e-commerce growth is over 32% by Harvard
Business review, gives the Maya team an advantage to produce accurate data through Maya
post COVID behaviors correctly.
Synapse is Florida’s innovation hub with the mission to bridge innovators with investors that would help grow their businesses further and create robust networks from the best of Florida’s innovation community. While more than 300 exhibitors spread across three floors of the arena are all excited to showcase and demonstrate their innovations to bring them all to life. Subject matter experts from diverse fields and expertise will lead the discussions on a variety of topics centered on innovation and business and curate hands-on workshops.
Keynote Speakers include Felecia Hatcher, the CEO of Black Ambition, founded by Pharrell Williams; it is a non-profit initiative providing startup capital to high-growth startups founded by Black and Latinx entrepreneurs. Also speaking is Manny Medina, Founder of eMerge Americas & Medina Capital, a Miami tech pioneer, serial entrepreneur, and investor. It is also worth mentioning that a globally recognized metaverse expert, Cathy Hackl, will be sharing her insights on the event; she is the CEO & Chief Metaverse Officer of Futures Intelligence Group. Many other insightful
speakers fill the event with valuable knowledge and skills.
At 11 a.m., a panel discussion will be held uncovering the roles of universities as innovation drivers to be led by three University presidents, Rhea Law (University of South Florida), Dr. Alexander Cartwright (University of Central Florida), and Dr. Kent Fuchs (University of Florida).
Another highlight of the summit is the Synapse Innovation Awards. In this part of the event, innovators are recognized and celebrated for creating solutions to problems and making lives or processes better. There will be winners from each category and a Grand Prize Winner among all the exhibitors.
The one-day event kicks off with registration at 8 in the morning, with after-parties running from 5 p.m. onwards.
